Chelsea the English champions had a false entry in the league and were defeated by Burnley 2-3 in a meeting in which the home team was reduced to nine elements due to two expulsions.
Chelsea continue with a squad of great quality and even having lost Matic and with DIego Costa in the door of the exit, they entered Rudiger and Morata that came to add quality.
Chelsea last weekend was to beat the Spurs 2-1 with the unlikely hero to be Spaniard Marcos Alonso who scored both goals of the win.
This year Chelsea will have to deal with the Champions League, something that did not happen last season when they were only focused on the Premier League.
Everton the Liverpool team has a good team, a bit like last year’s image. Lost some important players is right, Lukaku the most blatant case, but also returned Rooney, he who has been a major player this early in the season.
Everton are also in European competition when they have played Europa League Play Off. In the league they have 4 points in 2 games. They beat Stoke City 1-0 at home and drew 1-1 at Manchester City, a very positive result.
On Thursday there were some players in the Europa League Play-off game, but not everyone had a rest and a half team started.
Chelsea are a stronger team and I see them winning this game. It will not be easy because Everton are a tough opponent for any team and it was proved once again in Manchester that they caused a lot of problems for City and they left with a point.
Chelsea have lost at home in the Premier League and I do not see them again, unless the game returns to events that are not expected.
I believe and I assume a balanced match between two teams that have excellent performers, but it is time for the English champions to affirm and here should confirm the victory in this game.
