AC Milan missed its comeback in the Champions League, 7 years after its last meeting lost on the ground of Atlético Madrid (4-1), by losing last September 15 on the lawn of Liverpool (3- 2) on the first day. Since this failure, the Rossoneri have continued with a draw in Turin against Juventus (1-1) and by two successes in front of Venice (2-0) and Spezia (2-1) this Saturday on the last day of Serie A Milan have had a very interesting start to the season, and are even showing themselves as a serious contender for the title in Italy.
Atlético Madrid, for its part, has just suffered its first defeat of the season this weekend, to everyone’s surprise!
