Bari – Parma : Preview & Prediction
The home defeat against Palermo, just after that against the Entella in Chiavari, somehow led the critics to doubt the goodness of the project of Mister Grosso. Doubts swept away by the excellent performance of the Galletti in Perugia, where the Pugliesi have played great teams, strongly reaffirming their ambitions. Even Parma has recently had to play-force pull the breath, because the start had really been launched and sooner or later it was a physiological slowdown. In spite of the two consecutive draws in the last two, however, Parma is holding the third place tight and the Bari that occupies the second position behind the Palermo.
The Emilians have a respectable score for a “newly promoted” (although it is a newly promoted sui generis): there are thirty-one points won so far in nineteen games played.
The Bari has even done better, but the Apulian preceded the next opponents only one point in the standings: a point that however is worth the second place.
Grosso’s team has built its enviable ranking especially at the San Nicola, where he won eight games out of ten played (two defeats complete the score).
The Parma, however, did away six times out of nine races played away from Tardini (four wins and two draws for the Emilian).
The Gialloblù have closed with the inviolate door three of the last five games played and the match against Cesena in the last round has finished even 0-0.
The high-level game, the balance between two teams that are making a similar path and the two excellent defenses (eight goals collected by Bari at home in ten games at San Nicola, including three all from Palermo.
