Belshina – Smolevichi : Preview & Prediction
Two newly promoted athletes face each other in the next round of the Belarusian championship: Belshina, who occupies the last place in the standings with only 1 point, hosts Smolevichi, penultimate at two points, at Spartak Stadium on the fifth day. Already early to talk about the struggle for salvation? One would hardly say, given the poor results obtained by both teams at the beginning of the season, so each point scored already seems to be a step forward towards staying in the Belarusian top flight. The home team began their adventure in Vysshaya Liga with three consecutive defeats: their debut against FC Minsk (despite having taken the lead with Kovel after only 7 minutes, only to lose badly 1-3 between the walls) , then against Zhodina, current leader of the classification ((1-0), finally with Gorodeja back at home (0-1). In the last round, however, the team coached by Vladimirovich managed to get the first point of the season, going 1-1 on the field of Neman Grodno, thanks to a goal in the second half of the usual Kovel.
For their part, the guests are not doing better, with only two points collected in four games: with a draw at the debut, two consecutive defeats and one more tie in the last round, the Smolevichi occupies the penultimate place with not very good results more encouraging than those of the opponents. If we add that in four games Smolevichi only went online once with Mukhamedov on his debut, we can say with certainty that the attack by the team coached by Brazevich has really wet dust. Positive that at least the team suffers “few” goals? In four games, in fact, there have been three goals, for four consecutive Under 2.5s. Will the fifth consecutive come next weekend?
