Brighton – Fulham : Preview & Prediction
After an excellent start to the season, Brighton have now gone three games without a win in the Premier League. The Seagulls were beaten by Aston Villa (6-1) and Manchester City (2-1), and were also held by Liverpool (2-2). There’s no need to worry for Roberto De Zerbi’s team, however, as they faced 3 teams who are sure to finish in the top tier of the English league. Currently in 7th place in the Premier League, Brighton bounced back in the Europa League in midweek with a 2-0 win over Ajax Amsterdam. They’ll be looking to continue their form in the league this Sunday at 3pm, when they take on Fulham. The Cottagers are in the doldrums of the Premier League. They are 13th in the table. They are already well clear of the red zone, but are a long way from the European places. In fact, the London club has just lost 2 of its last 3 matches. They were beaten by Chelsea (0-2) and Tottenham (2-0). They’ll certainly have another tough time of it against another top-flight team. And Brighton have no real choice if they are to stay in touch with the Premier League’s top 5.
