Chelsea are certainly one of the best European teams at the start of the season. Winner of the last Champions League, the London club is at the top of the Premier League after the first nine days. It remains in particular on a large success against Norwich City (7-0). It is therefore difficult not to make Thomas Tuchel’s team one of the big favorites of this Coupe de la Ligue. After taking out Aston Villa, the Blues are now attacking Southampton. Granted, the Saints were able to knock out Newport and Sheffield United in previous rounds. They don’t expect the same opposition at Stamford Bridge, however. Only sixteenth in the Premier League, Southampton will have a lot of trouble during this trip to Chelsea.
