Chile – Honduras : Preview & Prediction
Once upon a time there was the great Chile: an organized team, tough, determined, convinced and aware. Looking at recent results, it is hard to believe that only recently did this same national team graduate for two consecutive South American champion in front of opponents like Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Now Vidal and his companions seem to have lost their identity and struggle enormously to find the right path, alternating good performance and good results with clumsy thuds (not least the very recent against Costa Rica). It is urgent another reaction of pride on the part of the Chile, who can not absolutely miss the approach to the race against Honduras.
True, it will only be a friendly, but after the recent results in Chile will not be allowed another bad performance …
In the last exit the Chileans managed to frustrate the previous good test offered against Mexico (1-0 away victory).
In fact, against Costa Rica, there was a resounding internal defeat that made Chile fall back into the nightmare (2-3 the final result).
Despite a 1-0 win against Panama last Saturday, it’s not like Honduras is doing much better …
Before this last victory, in fact, the Hondurans came from five non-exceptional games (three losses and two draws).
Chile is called to redeem itself, because now the tension is definitely at the limit in the Roja house. We need a victory that is hurled and possibly convincing, also in terms of play and amplitude of results, to definitively drive out all the shadows. The share of the final result, however, is too popular, we opt for an Over 2.5.
