Czech Republic – Scotland : Preview & Prediction

The Czech Republic seemed to be the number one candidate for the leadership of Group 2 of League B of this new Uefa Nations League and the opening match seems to have proved the predictions right. Not surprisingly, after just one round, the Czechs are already alone at the top of the rankings, with the antagonists already forced to chase. Antagonists who are called Slovakia (already defeated at the debut), Israel and Scotland. In the other match of the first round, the Scots themselves forced Israel at home, demonstrating the usual defensive solidity, but also the traditional lack of imagination from an offensive point of view.

Not surprisingly, the home game against Israel for Scotland ended with the result (certainly not sparkling) of 1-1.

Across the qualifying round, the Scots have scored sixteen goals in ten games. A not so negative score …

If we go into detail, however, it turns out that Scotland scored eleven of these sixteen goals against San Marino and Kazakhstan.

And four others, incidentally, the Scots carried out against Cyprus. Let’s say that when Scotland meets the big names, the network path is a bit winding …

In Russia, in fact, Scotland lost 6-0 (in the second leg they ended 1-2), in Belgium the match ended 3-0 (in the second leg 0-4).

To complete a far from enviable away score, we should also remember the heavy defeat of Scotland in Kazakhstan (3-0), which does not promise anything good in view of the game in the Czech Republic. We choose the double chance 1X first half, to which we combine the No Gol option.
