Eibar did the previous season, its third in the elite division of Spanish football, the best campaign of its brief history in the competition. He played until the final rounds a place to play for the Europa League. It ended up failing.

For the confrontation, the technician Jose Mendilibar will have to wait for the positioning of the medical department in relation to the goalkeeper Yoel; to defender Anaitz Arbilla; and striker Nano, who are recovering from injury. They will need to go through a new evaluation to see if they will be available for the confrontation.
Leganes
After being threatened by relegation to the last rounds of the previous season, Leganes managed to give their fans hope for a better performance with two consecutive victories in the opening rounds of La Liga. At home, he passed Alaves, runner-up of the Copa del Rey, scoring 1-0. He repeated the minimum score as a visitor against Espanyol, who fought for a place in the Europa League in 2016/2017.
The cold water bucket came in the third round when, at home, lost 2-1 to Getafe, rival considered a direct opponent in the fight against the fall to the Second Division. Even so, with six points, open the fourth day in fifth place, within the classification zone for the Europa League.
To defend this position, coach Asier Garitano may have two casualties for the match against Eibar. They are in the medical department the goalkeeper Jon Serantes and the defender Dimitrios Siovas.
