After beating Empoli away and then blowing up La Spezia, the Roma club lost on the return from the break at San Siro, against a very solid AC Milan this year, who could well have a big season. Thursday night in the Europa League, Lazio lost 1-0 in a very complicated trip to Galatasaray.
Cagliari started their season pretty well with an Italian Cup victory and a draw to kick off their championship. But the match before the break and the one after the break did not go as planned. Cagliari lost heavily at San Siro against AC, and then lost at home to Genoa.
