Liverpool had a difficult year last year with scores of long-term injuries. However, the club still managed to finish third in the Premier League and therefore qualify for the Champions League this year. With many comebacks, Liverpool’s true level could be shown, and the Reds were fairly easy to win at Norwich on Matchday 1.
Since his rise in 2015-2016, Burnley is content to compete for maintenance (except for a 7th place in 17/18), and is doing very well for the moment. Last year, the club finished first non-relegation but were 11 points ahead of their first pursuer. This year the goal will be the same, but the season got off to a bad start with a home loss to Brighton.
