Turkey has incredibly sunk into League C of the Nations League. On the one hand the Turks risked going to the World Cup, on the other hand they have to start again from the third level of European football and play against opponents like Luxembourg, Far Oer and Lithuania. In such cases it is difficult to keep the tension up, more than anything else: Luxembourg is there to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Turkey eventually won the first leg, but the Luxembourgers are still only three points behind them, so everything is still up for grabs. In the next match, however, the Luxembourgers absolutely must win against the Faroe Islands in order to go into the first leg with just one win behind Turkey…
