MALMO – OREBRO PREDICTION (01.05.2017)

Malmo FF vs Orebro SK: Preview & Prediction

After losing victory in the last round, it feels like Malmö FF climbs in with great reward to the match against Örebro SK. It opens for a game in the corner market.

After 0-0 against the bottom team Kalmar FF in the last match, it was frustrated in Malmö FF. Now, just a few days later, the team has the chance to revansch. Now Örebro SK is waiting at home, a team that the ruling Swedish champions obviously will apply as clear favorites to.

It should be said that MFF is very strong at home. Two win on two tries this season, but what is most important to Malmö in Skåne is their pondus in the offensive game. Just that pondus was exactly what was missing in Thursday’s match at Guldfågeln Arena, when Malmö only managed to scrape two shots on goal in nineteen minutes. Hardly gold class?

In the home team, it is unclear if Lasse Nielsen, the important midback, is playful when we write this. The Danish went out of the last match with a shocked concussion, which makes him probably rested here. This means that Behrang Safari is likely to step in as midback and Pa Konate takes the place to the left in the back line. There is a strong enough backline to dominate this match image anyway.

In the match against Kalmar, Magnus Pehrsson chose to rescue key players Anders Christiansen and Markus Rosenberg. He probably does not dare to do now. In itself, it is important to push up the energy level in the start of the homes.
Örebro does not have the stability

After a good start of the season – with seven points in the three opening matches – Örebro has now lost points in two straight matches. The 3-0 loss against Elfsborg was followed by a stick against Häcken. It is by no means a thorough result, but it feels that Örebro lacks the stability to be able to perform in match after match. The trucker is simply not strong enough.

Malmo FF vs Orebro SK: Direct Matches

Örebro will probably come to this match without midfielder Filip Rogic and midfield Patrik Haginge. The former played the first three matches, but then fell in the throat and is now heading back to match form.

One thing feels given to this event and it is that the home team gets hold of the beat. The Revanschlustan after Thursday’s debacle is great. The crowd learns to tap their team in search of that important 1-0 goal. Three points are undoubtedly all that counts here.

This means that we believe in a Malmö that comes into the wave after wave, just as we used to when they play at the Stadium in Malmö. It’s a way to play that usually leads to a lot of corners.
