Manchester City had a great season last year winning the league and a cup. The Champions League target has not yet been reached, but City still have time to achieve it. The club will seek to retain their title this year, but it will not be an easy task with rivals who have strengthened themselves very well (Chelsea and Manchester United) or even Liverpool who have recovered many long-injured players last year. City got off to a very bad start, losing to Tottenham in the opener.
Norwich had a very strong season last year and finished first in the Championship. The club, relegated two years ago, will therefore not have lasted in the second division and return directly to the English elite. A comeback that got off to a bad start, with a home loss to Liverpool well above the rest of the game.
