A used first round is coming to an end

Last season, both teams were still among the top four in the league, who together represented the Bundesliga in the Champions League at the end of the season. If the Wolves have fought their way to the quarter-finals and Real Madrid have added one of only two defeats in the whole of 2016, the Gladbachers have once again reached the Champions League.
