Nantes – Lyon: Preview & Prediction
This trip to La Beaujoire will not be easy for the Olympique Lyonnais since it intervenes a few days before the start in selection of several elements.
OL will have to get out of this trap without Sergi Darder and especially, the Lyonnais will have to find an opening in front of the solid block set up by the tactician, Claudio Ranieri.
If Lyon will be without the Spanish, FC Nantes will have to do without several executives. The Nantes have just won their first victory in the French Championship of Ligue 1, it was Troyes (1-0), but they lost a lot of elements on this start of the season.
Indeed, FC Nantes coming off an avalanche of injuries on the first days, Valentin Rongier, Yacine Bammou Diego Carlos A. Kacaniklic, J. Kayembe … plus Claudio Ranieri will have to deny Lucas Lima , Suspended.
FC Nantes has struggled to clinch his first victory of the season, but after setbacks in Lille (0-3) and to Marseille (0-1), the Canaries have got a valuable victory at Troyes (1-0).
FC Nantes is growing in power despite all these absences and as a result, OL could be in danger at La Beaujoire. The Lyonnais were impressive since the start of the season, but last week they tripped home ahead of Bordeaux (3-3).
OL scored a great volley early season since Gones exploded Strasbourg (4-0), before going to impose in Rennes, 2 goals to 1. The contribution of Traore, Diaz, Fernando Marcal, Marcelo or Tete is no longer to be demonstrated.
Careful, Lyon was less good before the Bordeaux Girondins, due in particular to the expulsion of Sergi Darder, but due in particular to Bordelais enterprising on the offensive plane. It is the first time that the defense Lyonnaise has been put to bad on this beginning of the season.
Attention, Nabil Fékir was hit in front of Bordeaux. The French international should take his place, but before the gathering in blue, he will take no risk. If he missed the match at La Beaujoire, it would be an additional reason to bet on a parity score.
