Sevilla is not having a good 2022-23 season, but they are coming off a 2-0 win over Real Mallorca at the Sáchez Pizjuan on the last day of La Liga, with goals from Youssef En-Nesyri and newcomer Bryan Gil. With those three points they have managed to put some ground on the relegation places to the second division, as they are four ahead of Valencia, but had to field several starters for a match that was key. We will have to wait to see how they recover physically, including Jesus Navas, who if he plays on Thursday would reach the figure of 100 European games in the Sevilla shirt.

PSV Eindhoven are coming off the back of a 6-0 thrashing of Groningen in the last round of the Eredivisie. With this victory, they are only four points behind leaders Ajax and occupy third place behind AZ Alkmaar.
Their coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy, faces a second half of the season without Cody Gakpo, who left for Liverpool last month as top scorer and assists with 9 goals and 12 assists. But they are also suffering from a number of injuries, including right-back Phillipp Mwene and Anwar El Ghazi, while Luuk de Jong was forced off on Saturday with a heavy head injury, although they hope to have him back for Thursday.
PSV, who currently occupy fourth place in the Eredivisie, will be hoping to have him available for Thursday.
The Eindhoven outfit are still in with a chance of winning a hat-trick of titles this season.
