Shakthar Donetsk
Shakthar Donetsk is in contrast to many other Champions League starters and also in contrast to kick-off Naples already in the middle of the Ukrainian championship. While the Italians have only played three games so far, the Ukrainians are already nine, in our opinion, a small advantage for Donetsk. In general, we see Shakthar as an enormously well-trained team, the squad was hardly intensified in the summer, only Abwehrmann Khocholava came from Luhansk to Donetsk. Accordingly, coach Paulo Fonseca had time to refine his playing idea even more. This also seems to have been a success, as Donetsk is already at the top of the highest Ukrainian playing class after nine games. Twenty-one points were collected in these new games, and eight victories had to be celebrated and defeated. However, they were already on matchday two against the arch rivals from Kiev (0: 1). Apart from that, the statistics of the Fonseca team are outstanding. Shakthar has been without any loss of points since six games in a row, and has also scored two goals in all of these matches. The offensive is once again the highlight of the Ukrainians. The bankruptcy against Kiev was the only game in which one did not hit at least twice. Regarding the strength of the game, Shakthar is able to compete well with many teams in the competition, the many South Americans in the squad ensure a high degree of game culture. What does not get them well, however, is body-toned game, for which Naples is not anyway. Shakthar certainly has strengths also in standard situations, especially in the person of interior defender Sergiy Kryvtsov, who was already allowed to cheer over two season goals. However, as Shakthar is dependent on his South American players, the fact remains that the defensive man is currently the best Ukrainian scorer in the Fonseca squad. Duels with clubs from the Italian Serie A, however, have so far been little promising.
SSC Naples
Even at the SSC Naples, no one can complain about lack of success. Just as at the beginning of last season, they are preparing to seriously jeopardize Juventus in the battle for the Scudetto. After three game days, the score is a maximum of nine points, so the chest should be before the trip to Ukraine. In the summer transfer period, too, Napoli has refrained from investing in large investments, but instead relies on tried and tested ones. The fact that this is paid for, among other things, showed themselves against the FC Bologna, which were clearly pointed out 3-0 at home. However, it has to be pointed out that for a good hour the South Italians were struggling very hard to find solutions against the dense series of defenses. The fact that one is physically, however, in top condition, showed the fact that one could keep the pace over the entire 90 minutes very high and therefore correspondingly late in the game the hits to the 2-0 and 3-0. Piotr Zielinksi, a new addition from Udinese, who has made a breakthrough last year, is also making a difference in the home side. As a joker, he already played twice in three seasons, and was also on the weekend with a handball. Donetsk could be the pole in the starting line, he is considered as a physically robust actor, who neither spared the opponent in the two battles nor the creative opponents such as Hamsik or Allan the back. Apart from Zielinski, the usual suspects are responsible for the gates. The Belgian Dries Mertens has already hit twice again, with his enormous pace also creating holes for his team-mates, into which they can bump. Lorenzo Insigne and Jose Callejón, who has also given his business card with a goal and two draws, are particularly benefiting. Also positive: Naples have still scored at least two goals in every league game, and have also proved that they can be more than just in difficult matches.
