FK Vardar Skopje vs Malmö FF: Preview & Prediction

Malmö FF has the knife against the throat before the return meeting against FK Vardar Skopje in qualifying for the Champions League. After 1-1 at home, the scouts now go down to Macedonia with a goal to score. If you fail this mission, the adventure is over.

In the first meeting it was clear that MFF is the better team. There was a difference in class during much of the game, where one of the opponents was their hollow defense game. However, there is a lot of offensive quality at FK Vardar Skopje, something not least noticed in the conversion game.

1-1 was any unfair result, which largely made it difficult for Malmö to get the ball. However, before the return meeting, Markus Rosenberg is expected to be back in the team, even at the time of writing, it is unclear whether he can start or not. However, the rehabilitation has exceeded expectations and the team captain is in the squad who drove down to the Macedonian capital.
Several difficult-to-understand factors to weigh in

There are several things that make this match very difficult in advance. Secondly, it is an extremely important meeting where so much is at stake. It involves a lot of pressure on both teams, and so before the match it is not easy to know which team manages the best. Malmö, however, has more routine, quality and good memories from the qualification, but on the other hand, the scores have a rather weak absence in Europe.

Note that the match is also played in Strumica, a couple of hours outside Skopje. In other words, the home team will not play in its regular arena. According to reports, there is also a certain risk that the plan used instead is not the best.

The fact that Malmö FF steps in to the match with the press to score goals on their shoulders, characterizes the match image a lot. The skates must increase their risk-taking, especially if you do not get an early ball. It can open some surfaces for the home team. It also teaches the match to be a little more offensive than if Malmö had won at home. The feeling is that FK Vardar Skopje – especially at home – does not really have the ability to play defensively. An open match image is therefore close to hand.

Before this match, it seems that Malmö will in one way or another dominate the match image, then counted in things like ball possession and the number of goals. Unfortunately, for their part, goal manufacturing and efficiency have been bad for much of the season, something that can put sticks in the wheel here. However, we expect ice cold that the team pushes at least one ball.

The open match image is open to goals in both directions.
