With two straight league losses, the club took some reassurance on Wednesday night by eliminating Eibar from the Copa del Rey (victory 1-2), and have a very important game to play here. With 4 points ahead of the relegation first, the case is not over yet, but Mallorca have the opportunity to (almost) rule out a contender for maintenance.
