After the elimination of AS Monaco, Olympique Lyonnais is the last French representative in the Europa League. The French team made a strong impression in the last 16, beating FC Porto. However, the situation is still very complicated for Peter Bosz’s team. They will have to face West Ham. And the Rhodesian players are far from having been able to build up their confidence in Ligue 1. They are only in ninth place in the French league and have won only one of their last three games. This does not bode well for their trip to London for the first leg. West Ham are currently sixth in the Premier League. The London club is still in contention for a place in the Champions League. The Hammers are in great form at home. They have won their last three games at home. It’s hard not to imagine them continuing that form against OL.

They will therefore aim for nothing less than a success in their stadium. It’s a good thing they’ve got a good chance of winning the game. The Rhone club could therefore encounter some difficulties in the London capital.
